My rate per word depend on complexity, volume, time, and deadline.
- Complexity is divided into three levels: Simple, average, difficult.
- Simple might be an easy newsletter
- Average might be a website translation
- Difficult might be a highly technical document
- Volume is calculated in small, medium, large.
- Small is up to 2000 words
- Medium is between 2000 and 10.000 words
- Large is more than 10.000 words
- Time is an estimate of the time spend on different files, programs, and other time-consuming operations.
- If for instance I need to spend time on learning a new program or handle several different files, I charge an hoursly price in addition to the rate per word.
- Deadline is divided into three categories: Prompt, as soon as possible, and reasonable.
- Prompt is here-and-now or by tomorrow
- As soon as possible is within a couple of days
- Reasonable is a longer timeschedule
